Information We Collect

Mirada is designed with privacy in mind. We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the App's functionality.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Vision boards and content: Your boards, images, quotes, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Photos: Images you add to boards from your photo library or camera are stored within the App's local storage. We do not access your full photo library.

Data Synced via iCloud

• User ID: Your CloudKit record identifier is used to associate your data (boards, Gathering contributions) with your account. This identifier is linked to your Apple ID.
• Display name: When you create or join a Gathering (shared board session), the display name you choose is stored in CloudKit so other participants can identify you.
• Gatherings: Your board contributions in Gatherings are stored in CloudKit so other participants can see them. All iCloud data is associated with your Apple ID and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Sent to Third Parties

• Unsplash (optional): If you search for web images (Mirada Pro feature), your search queries are sent to the Unsplash API. Unsplash's privacy policy is available at unsplash.com/privacy.
• No analytics or advertising SDKs: We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, or advertising frameworks. We do not track you.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your email address, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not use device identifiers for tracking or advertising.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
• We do not use cookies or web tracking technologies.

AI-Generated Content

The App includes an AI quote generator that runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device models. No text you enter is sent to external servers. If on-device AI is unavailable, the App falls back to a curated database of quotes stored within the App.

In-App Purchases

Mirada Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Purchase history: The App receives your subscription status from Apple to determine which features to unlock. This purchase history data is linked to your Apple ID and is used solely for app functionality. We do not store or transmit this information to any external service beyond Apple.

Children's Privacy

You must be 13 or older to use the App. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has provided information through Gatherings, we will take steps to remove it.

Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted by removing the App from your device. Gathering contributions in CloudKit can be removed by deleting the gathering.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
